Course Information

Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 10:00pm for two weeks.

Course Fee $400.00

Course Outline

Students will spend the first night of class, getting familiar with products. Liquor, wine, beer and soft beverages, brand names, categories and prices.Product knowledge makes learning drink recipes fast and easy!

Students will train behind a fully equipped training bar. The same set-up used by professional bartenders. Most of your class time will be spent behind that bar learning by actually mixing the drinks. Everyone who takes this class will get to spend as much time behind the bar as they need to gain the confidence of a professional bartender.Confidence will get you hired and confidence will keep you employed. Confidence is what you gain from taking this bartender training program!

Customer service skills and public relations are an important part of the training program.Handling cash and credit transactions as well as bar inventory will also be covered.

Entrance Requirements

Northeast Bartenders maintains an open-door policy in regards to admissions. The school reserves the right to require interviews with all applicants prior to admission. Northeast Bartenders accepts students without regard to race, religion, sex or national origin. Minimum age requirement is (18) eighteen years old

Standards of Progress

Bartending is a skill learned by becoming familiar with various categories and brand names of liquors, wines, beer and soft beverages and through practice mixing the most popular drink recipes. In order to evaluate the student's progress, written and beverage speed and efficiency tests are conducted at the conclusion of each course. In the event of student failure, either test may be retaken until a passing grade is achieved. If a student is unable to achieve a passing grade, the student will be offered additional classes at no additional charge.

Attendance and Conduct

Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and be on time. Students are encouraged to come late rather than miss an entire class. Any class time missed will be re-scheduled at a convenient time. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectable manner.

General Information

Attire for classes is casual. Classes will be conducted in a relaxed yet professional manner. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a Certificate of Completion describing the material covered during the course and confirming that the student has satisfactorily completed the course.

Placement Assistance

Obtaining a job depends on the applicants ability to convince a potential employer that he/she possesses the required knowledge and skills that the available position would require. Northeast Bartenders will do everything reasonably possible to provide leads to job openings in area restaurants, clubs, pubs, golf courses, resorts, casinos, hotels and shopping malls. Our Certificate of Completion has been shown throughout the area and beyond for over (20) years. Hundreds of area employers operating every type of beverage outlet have hired our students. Many of these employers have taken this bartending training program.
